Happy Birthday, Sue!

Today is Sue's birthday! I've put together a party for her, and while sending email invitations I sent an message to her brothers and sister (in Texas, Florida, and Arkansas) just letting them know about the party and inviting them to come if they happened to be in the Atlanta metropolitan area.




Nancy, Dan, and Sue's mother surprised her by showing up for her birthday dinner tonight! It was great - Sue had no idea and was totally surprised! (Mark had a prior commitment and couldn't make it :-(

Hopefully the party will all fall together and her birthday celebration will be complete! If you see her be sure and wish her well...

Cleaning the basement

Sue has been working really hard on cleaning out our basement over the
past two weeks. She got motivated when her good friend Cathleen moved;
seeing all those boxes made her want to get rid of a bunch of stuff and
get things sorted and straightened. The basement looks good enough for
people to actually go down there and do things, but there is a problem -
now she's eyeing all of my junk and asking a lot of questions about what
I want to keep and get rid of! Oh, no!

Sue's new tool - the Sidekick II

After I got my Sidekick II last month Sue watched me get used to using it, then started saying how she thought she'd like a new phone, then finally asked if I would set her up with the Sidekick II so she could use it as an organizer and get rid of her Handspring Visor. I did, and she loves it! She's taking pictures with it, emailing those pictures to friends right after she takes them, calling people, and doing a little bit of email with it. She hasn't really gotten in to the AOL IM thing on it yet, but when I show her how to AOL IM as a text telephone I think she'll wear it out!
